Tom Van ASSCHE

Tom is a Belgian television maker, cameraman and graphic designer. In 2014, his thesis on online games of chance won him the “actua-talent” prize, an award for video journalism students. Since then he has worked as a freelance video maker for the editorial offices of Mediahuis and various television channels. His work has taken him to all corners of the world, from the mountains of Nepal to the favelas of Brazil.

Together with Kobe Goderis, Tom made the Redhorse documentary ‘Toxic Town’, about Kabwe in Zambia, one of the most polluted cities in the world. Check out the project page for more!
