NATALIIA HUCHOK

When the war broke out in Ukraine, Nataliia Hutchok was studying journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She fled to Belgium and is now more motivated than ever to finish her journalism education at Thomas More University of Applied Sciences in Mechelen. “On the picture I spent a day near the president’s office with my fellow students in Kyiv to ask Ukrainian authorities when the country would join NATO. We were able to catch them. I remember this as a lovely day. As I see it, the main task of journalists is to give a voice to the voiceless. I always keep this in mind, so for me the Redhorse Collective is the best place to realize this”.
