LOES VERHAEGHE

Loes Verhaeghe worked as a researcher for the university of Ghent at the faculty of Sociology, where she wrote a thesis about voluntourism. She published articles in online magazine Mo* and made a report about it on national Belgian television. With her analytic mind she is not afraid of asking the though questions. 

Loes lived in Nicaragua where she worked for Belgian NGO VECO (now RIKOLTO). After an extra specialization in gender studies, Loes now focuses on gender issues as an employee for the University Center of Development Cooperation (UCOS).
