ANKE DIRIX

Anke is a coffee-loving power woman and a first class team player at the same time. She has a no-nonsense kind of style and is one of those people to count on when things need to be done. That’s the spirit we like.

As an aspiring journalist and documentary maker, Anke focuses on gender issues, climate and development. Currently she is working on a documentary shot in Malawi, that will be broadcasted on Canvas. She is strong in new media, and if you want to get to know some new music you never heard about, you should talk with her too.

Anke has a master’s degree in journalism, and studied at Bilgi University in Istanbul. She has built up experience as an editor for the Belgian public broadcaster VRT, and is a proud Redhorse Rider.

Besides making documentaries, Anke is part of our Equator team, that aims to connect children worldwide through an online platform.
